In the second quarter of 2024, geolocation games continued to captivate users on Android platforms in the US. Sensor Tower's data provides a glimpse into the performance of the top contenders in this immersive category.

Pokémon GO showed a fluctuating revenue trend, starting at approximately $26K in the first week of April and peaking at around $32K by the end of June. Downloads surged in June, reaching a high of 67K in the second week, while weekly active users grew steadily from 2.3M to nearly 2.5M.

Monster Hunter Now, another Niantic title, saw modest revenues beginning at $2K and climbing to just over $3K. The game had a late start in downloads with a notable spike to 3.9K in the final week of June. Active users showed a slight increase from 42K to nearly 44K.

For Jurassic World Alive, revenue numbers varied, kicking off the quarter at $1.5K and dropping to $1.3K by the end of June. Downloads saw a peak of 6.4K in late May, but weekly active users experienced a decline from 21K to 16K.

Pikmin Bloom revenue ranged from $514 to $602, with a noticeable dip to $366 in the last week. Downloads were relatively low, with an upturn to 810 in the final week. Active user counts decreased from 14K to around 11.6K.

Tamadog - Puppy Pet Dog Games had a starting revenue of $134, which rose to $706 in early June before settling at $606. Downloads saw a significant jump to 12.9K in the second week of June, but active users showed a drop from 18K to 10K by the quarter's end.
